Gentle relief from occasional constipation . Promotes bowel movement by increasing the volume by the mucilaginous effect and by its water absorption. A source of soluble fiber , psyllium is a convenient way to increase fiber intake in your diet.
Soluble fibers. Soluble fiber from foods like psyllium seed husks, as part of a diet low in saturated fat and cholesterol, may reduce the risk of heart disease. One serving of whole psyllium husks provides 6 grams of the 7 gram soluble fiber needed per day to have this effect.
SUGGESTED USE: Vigorously mix 1-2 level tablespoons per day in at least 12 oz. of water or juice and consume immediately. Make sure you drink plenty of extra fluids throughout the day. Start with smaller amounts and build gradually over several weeks. Store in a cool, dry place after opening.
CAUTION : This product should be taken with at least one full glass of liquid. Taking this product without sufficient liquid may cause choking. Do not take this product if you have difficulty swallowing.
