RAVINTSARA ESSENTIAL OIL
Chemotype organic essential oil, 100% pure, natural and authentic.
Native to Asia, ravintsara (Cinnamomum camphora cineoliferum) also called Malagasy Camphorer, gives an essential oil, from the distillation of its leaves, whose smell recalls that of Camphor. Not to be confused with ravensare (Ravensara Aromatica), a tree unfortunately in the process of extinction, which produces 2 essential oils (depending on whether one uses the leaves or the bark) whose properties are different from those of Ravintsara. The essential oil that is commonly sought is that of Ravintsara for its antiviral and immunostimulating properties.
Ravintsara essential oil is used in aromatherapy to help temporarily relieve coughing associated with colds.
dosage
Topical (Adults): Mix 1 to 5 drops in 1/2 teaspoon (2.5 ml) of vegetable oil; apply evenly in a thin layer on the chest every 8 hours, 3 times a day. Inhalation: Add 4 to 12 drops to a bowl of hot water or diffuser. Inhale slowly and deeply for 5-10 minutes up to 3 times a day.

Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes; in case of contact, rinse thoroughly with vegetable oil. Do not use during pregnancy or lactation. If you have epilepsy or asthma, consult a health care practitioner before using this product. May cause an allergic reaction (e.g., rashes, irritation and dermatitis and/or irritation of the respiratory tract); if necessary, discontinue use and consult with a health care practitioner. If nausea, dizziness, headache or an allergic reaction occur, discontinue use. Do not use on inflamed, damaged, irritated, sensitive or in case of dermatitis skin. Hypersensitivity may occur; in this case, discontinue use. Avoid exposing treated areas to the sun. Consult a health care practitioner if symptoms worsen or persist.
