Lavender Fine is a lavender that is found more widely cultivated in France and Bulgaria. Unlike True Lavender, it is not the subject of a controlled appellation. Lavender essential oil remains the best known and the most used. The Romans already used it to perfume their baths and their clothes. The word Lavender comes from the Latin "lavare" which means "to wash".
The essential oil of Lavender Fine is used in aromatherapy for its relaxing action (sedative, calming, nervine) to relieve nervousness, irritability and worry and to help sleep.
