Echinacea contains many mineral active compounds and trace elements and it is the rhizome that is used. Of particular note
are: Copper, manganese, zinc, iron, magnesium, calcium, phenols, alcamides, polysaccharides and flavonoids.
Helps prevent colds, helps treat urinary tract infections, treat sore throats, helps in treatments of inflammations of the skin.
The main virtues of propolis are:
- broad-spectrum antibiotic
- antiseptic
- anti-infectives to treat respiratory infections and ENT
- anti-fungal against mycoses, fungi, ringworm
- Influenza
PREPARATION: Mixture of glycerated and a simple tincture The preparations are brewed daily for 30 days, pressed and sieved No additives, dyes or preservatives No added sugar, gluten-free, soy-free, GMO-free, un-irradiated.
INDICATIONS: Respiratory system: Chronic bronchitis, pneumonia, tuberculosis, cough, flu, cold, sinusitis, rhinitis, pharyngitis, laryngitis, sore throat.
Immune system: Allergy, repeated infections, otitis, conjunctivitis, antibiotic therapy.
Urinary system: Urinary tract infection, nephritis, cystitis, prostatitis.
CONTRAINDICATIONS AND WARNINGS Allergy to hive products, coniferous resin or poplars (re: propolis) Consult a health care practitioner if use extends beyond 8 weeks (re: echinacea)
DOSAGE Children (2 to 7 years): 15 drops (0.75 ml), 2 to 4 times a day. Children (8 to 12 years): 20 drops (1 ml), 2 to 4 times a day. Adults (13 years and older): 40 drops (2 ml), 2 to 4 times a day, for up to 8 weeks1.7 Start with small doses to ensure tolerance to plants. Dilute the glycerated in a sip of water. Do not mix with milk. Stir the glycerated before use. During long-term treatment, give at the rate of 6 days a week.
MODE OF ACTION This glycerated is the compound used in the first line for all infections in the ENT region.
